Gilsonite Specifications can be measured in many different aspects and there are many tests to be made in order to understand the natural bitumen characteristics.

Some of these tests are done at very hot temperature (Gilsonite Ash test) and some produces a hazardous gas (Solubility Measurement). Zista Gilsonite considers safety a priority in all aspects of supply including the laboratory tests and we have all the necessary safety measures to run Gilsonite tests by ASTM Standards.
